Ok, so I’m a little obsessed with my new Oakley gear. I was thrilled with the summer kit they sent a few months ago and am in LOVE with the fall products.
I have been moving my workouts outside a bit more. I find that taking that half hour to an hour to get some fresh air and spend some time with my dog is just what I need at the end of a long day.
Oscar sleeps all day and around 3 or 4pm, he starts looking for attention, stretching in front of me, bringing his toys and putting them on my lap. Because I rarely stop for lunch these days, I realize that it’s probably time for me to break away for a bit and get us both a little exercise.
So I gear up, picking selections from my special Oakley pile, depending on the weather. Then I slap the leash on Oscar and out we go.
With fall here, I’ve tucked the shorts away and have been LOVING the Extreme Tight Capris. While the name would suggest otherwise, these capris don’t feel tight at all. In fact, I feel very comfortable in them. They are extremely flexible and breathable and I love the colours. They are also very forgiving These are my most favourite bottoms to run in yet.
This Oakley Factory Pilot sweater has been seeing a lot of action these days. It’s my new favourite at-home shirt and it’s also perfect to warm up in. I love the off-the shoulder detail. Brody says I’m in the 80s.
I’ve also got a lot of use out of this Flexibility Hoodie on cooler days when I head out for jogs. Again, it’s very breathable and, well, flexible It looks great with the red pants!
Oakley also hooked me up for great items for really chilly runs, like this headband, these socks and these great gloves that I can still wear while holding Oscar’s leash. This backpack is AMAZING! If only I had this when I was still in uni! First off, the colour is perfect and secondly, it’s really functional. I admit to opting for this over my Louis a few times. It is also very lightweight, so perfect to run with, and also great for a hike.
For some reason, ever since the summer months have officially said goodbye, I’m finding myself more motivated and eager to get outside and get moving. Maybe it’s because the body actually moves a lot less in the fall. Maybe it’s because I’m busier and I need a good release or maybe because I know I can’t rely on maxi skirts anymore when I have too much too eat
I’m glad my workout mojo is back!
