Last week I put the below photo on Instagram. I hated myself for it a bit because I hate a narcissist. But I was getting dressed for a workout and I walked past the mirror and did a double take. Where the F did those abs come from? In my head, I thanked my trainers at Fitfix for working me out so hard and was about to go on my way but then I thought that just like when a restaurant gives me a great meal, or I get some awesome product that I love, I always share an image.
Fitfix deserves a total tip of the cap for this and so I shared the image.
So what have they been making me do over there to get such kick-ass results? Working my ass off, that’s what. A combination of over-all strength training and targeting specific muscles, along with motivating me to keep up with my cardio and eat better has left me feeling very confident and happy with the latest results.
The specific exercise that I credit for the abs though is what I like to call The Wheel of Death.
The images are pretty explanatory. Basically you kneel on this little pad and roll this horrible wheel back and forth while moving from your hips.
Gahhhhhh. The first time you do it, you will want to die. Your abs will KILL the next day. But it gets easier and easier each time.
Throw in some cycling crunches and your abs will thank you.
And never forget the cardio. The cardio will help take off layers of fat that are hiding all those sexy muscles.
Ok ok, that one was narcissistic. But whatever. I’ve been working my abs off (HAHA get it, I said abs instead of ass) and I’m stoked about the results. LOVE YOU FITFIX XOXOOXOX
