If you read my blog last week, you’d know that I’ve been a bit stressed lately and very bogged down with work. And a little lonely. I have lots of opportunities to get out and socialize, but I’m not lonely like that. I’m lonely for the person who put a rock on my finger.
When you work really hard and never go out, it can sometimes feel like “what the hell do I do this for?” I haven’t much of a life at the moment and I stress hard and literally work all the time. What’s the freaking point?
The thing is, you have to reward yourself once in a while. You just do. And my favorite way to reward myself is to enjoy a boozy brunch with a couple of beautiful girlfriends and buy myself a cute new purse that I’d been lusting after for a while.
I headed to Wish in Yorkville with Nicole aka Dainty Girl and Crystal Gibson . I love that the above quote is on the first page of the Wish website. It reminds me of Brody.
We had mimosas, decadent eggs benedict and a well-needed gossip sesh.

What’s the point of working all the time if you can’t enjoy the fruits of your labour?
