I always swore to myself that when I got engaged, the first picture I would post of my ring on Facebook would look like this:
Whenever I saw a “So and so is now engaged to so and so” status on Facebook, I’d be like well isn’t that just great! Another one down. It can be really annoying to see people getting engaged on Facebook. I used to think so anyways, but then one day I was that person and I wanted to tell the world. I’m still refraining from including it in my professional email signature to clients. Saturday, January 12th, 2013 was the happiest day of my life.
“All right, let me be the first to say congratulations to you then. You get one vagina for the rest of your life. Real smart Frank. Way to work it through.” – Bernard, Old School
The response on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram was overwhelming. Thank you so much for all your lovely words.
The ring is perfect, he is perfect and I am so so so happy.
Brody got into town for a surprise visit last Tuesday and put a ring on it on Saturday. He left Sunday, but I must admit, diamonds ease the pain.
I can’t stop looking at my hand.
Have you seen my fiance?
Although I know I am about to become a slave to Wedding Magazine to browse ideas, I do already know which shoes I’m gonna wear down the aisle, the famous Carrie shoes that Big proposed with!
Drooooools.
