500 Posts, Almost 20,000 Tweets Later and Here We Are

This has been a good year so far and not even half the awesome stuff that I have been looking forward to has even happened yet. The year started with me going to Detroit with Ford to check out the North American International Auto Show which was a wildly fun time.

Then I got to experience life as a spokesperson with Dentyne, which was also pretty crazy.

Then I got to speak on my very first panel ever during Social Media Week.

These, sprinkled around all the fun events I have been going to lately make me realize how lucky I am to have started this blog (we are officially 500 posts in over here at Im Charming You). So February 2012 marked my two years on Twitter and my 500th blog post. We’ve come a long way from that lost, naive, new-to-Toronto girl who had no idea what she was doing and where she was going. Now, it’s like my ducks are all lined up in a row. I don’t want to jinx it, but there are still so many more exciting things coming down the pipe (I will let the info trickle in as it occurs).

Since my post about how I am choosing to spend my time, including who I am choosing to spend it with (read) I can see that in just these few short months, that strategy has really worked in my favor. It was hard, but most good things are. If you are still hanging out with deadbeats who drag you down, even if you like them, you should really consider changing that.

Anyways, thanks for sticking around for 500 posts and almost 20,000 Tweets. And even if you haven’t been here since the beginning, thanks for being here now
